Description
Campari Bitter Moilano 25% 1 l Large, generous with aromas of orange, wormwood and spices. Sweet, bitter and fresh taste of wormwood, lemon peel and cherries. Perfect as an aperitif for both Christmas Eve and the summer party. Campari was developed by the Italian master of liqueur blend, Gaspare Campari, in 1860. Gaspare Campari owned the café Caffé Campari in the heart of Milan, and the Milanese flocked quickly to enjoy the ruby red news. Today, Campari is one of the world's most popular spirit brands. Campari is produced to this day according to the original secret recipe, which is known only to a handful of trusted employees at Campari. Over time, much has been speculated on both the number and composition of ingredients. But the only thing we know for sure is that Campari contains a number of carefully selected ingredients, including bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruits that are soaked in distilled water and added alcohol. The ruby red colour comes from the natural dye carmine. Campari was originally created as an aperitif to awaken the senses before a meal, but today Campari is enjoyed both before, during and after meals. Italians and other seasoned fans love to drink Campari pure - "on the rocks" - so the drink's nuanced tones of orange peel, herbs and sweetness really come into their own.
