Chivas Regal was created by brothers John and James Chivas. As merchants of the old school, quality and service were always of the utmost importance to them. They even delivered to the English royal house. With a desire to provide their customers with consistent quality and taste, the brothers began blending whiskey casks together in the mid-1800s. These casks were stored in the cellar during their business and were purchased from surrounding distilleries, primarily in the Speyside region of north-east Scotland.

The Chivas Regal that the world knows today was first launched in 1938. It quickly became a success and is now sold in over 200 countries around the world. Chivas Regal has become a symbol of luxury and is known as one of the world's most iconic whiskies.
