Metaxa Classic 5 Stars is a special brandy from Greece, bottled in 1988 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Metaxa company. This antique bottle, dating from the 1980s, appears regal and is over 30 years old. Created in 1888 by the pioneer Spyros Metaxa, Metaxa has since been recognized as the original Greek spirit. The unique and intense flavor comes from Muscat wines from Samos, aged wine distillates and Mediterranean botanicals. Metaxa 5 Stjerner is lively and floral with a scent of orange blossom, rose petals and apricots. The taste is smooth with notes of flowers, vanilla and hints of white raisins. The aftertaste is balanced with a floral finish. It is recommended to enjoy Metaxa 5 Stjerner neat, with ice cubes or in a classic cocktail.
